In a rapidly developing and changing world, the concept of technology exists in every point of life. Digital technology, which we feel more and more influential in the field of design, is also closely related to the concept of the museum. The aim of this study demonstrate the impact of emerging technologies and to highlight the changes created in the museum understanding of the methods of presentation and emphasized the importance of implementing modern techniques, this situation by addressing their reflections in Turkey and the world, the museum society and contribute to a healthier way to establish a dialogue.
Two types of materials were used in the study. The first of these are publications, thesis studies, lecture notes, architectural and interior design magazines and internet resources related to the subject with theoretical and visual information. The scanned and analyzed information is sorted from general to specific through a filter. The second material in the first Istanbul Sakip through the museum world examples from Turkey and scanned the literature Sabanci Museum and the New Acropolis Museum located on-site detection in Athens, it is the analysis of interviews with relevant people and space photos. The method followed in the study is observation and detection. As a result of researches and observations using publications, thesis studies, lecture notes, architectural and interior design magazines and internet resources related to the subject, determination work was carried out.
Located in touchscreen contemporary museum spaces within the scope of the study, holographic technology, simulation, digital merchandising techniques such as virtual reality, it will be explained through examples from the world of museums and Turkey. Digital designs in museum spaces, especially Sakıp Sabancı Museum in Istanbul and New Acropolis Museum in Athens will be handled in terms of the relationship between space analysis and display techniques with technology. As a result, in today's world where museum buildings are works of art, digital solutions based on the unity between the individual-space and the work have brought a new perspective and understanding of design to the museum understanding. The study is a guide for designers and researchers who will work in the field of contemporary museology and interactive exhibition.
